Hiking & Nordic Walking

There is a well-developed network of cycling routes all around Bad Krozingen.

Winter sports
The area’s “Hohtann” long-distance skiing centre offers 38 km of well kept skiing routes of all grades of difficulty, including one floodlit route
In the skiing area around the Belchen hills (about 20km from the hotel) there are also some ten Alpine ski lifts. Well-maintained slopes with over 30km of runs invite keen skiers to enjoy their sport, with snow guaranteed for most of the season.
Basel [Switzerland]
The cultural capital of Switzerland is just a 45-minute drive away. Basel Zoo offers a particularly family-friendly location for a day excursion.
Colmar [France]
The town of Colmar is one of the historical jewels of Alsace. The “Little Venice” quarter, which lies on the river Lauch, is one of the many sights worth seeing in this wonderful old town.
Europa-Park at Rust
The Europa Park in Rust is a particularly attractive family destination.
Germany’s largest leisure park is just an hour’s drive away along the A5 autobahn.
